Privacy Policy
Fanych — effective October 18, 2026
This policy explains what information the Fanych website and app use, who receives it, and the choices you have.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
This policy covers the website fanych.com and the Fanych mobile app (Android package com.fanecho.app). The service is operated by Bhopes Group LLC, a Florida (United States) company; its full details are in the legal notice. For any privacy question, write to privacy@fanych.com. The technical name "fanecho" may still appear in some app identifiers.
2. The data we process
- Account: email address, display name, profile photo, role, country, language and time zone; date of birth, requested at sign-up to confirm you are 18 or older; gender and phone number when you provide them. Passwords are stored hashed, never in clear text.
- Creator profile: bio, categories, prices, availability, public media, and links or connections to social networks. A public profile and its content can be viewed by visitors.
- Purchases: orders, bookings, amounts, coin purchases and spending, gifts, subscriptions, credits, transaction references and payout status. Payment providers process the card or account details they need; Fanych keeps the references and status of each transaction, never your full card number.
- Communications: messages, briefs, comments, reviews, attachments and delivered content; the audio and video needed for calls and live sessions. Recordings and captions may be processed when you use those features.
- Location: only when you choose to share it during a call. The app then asks for location permission and sends a map link in the conversation. The recipient can keep that link. Your location is never collected in the background.
- Technical and support data: IP address and sign-in information, app version, platform, notification tokens, error reports and requests sent to support.
3. Why we use this data
We use this data to create and secure your account, display profiles, let users communicate, fulfil orders, process payments and payouts, and answer support requests. Information required by law (for example tax or anti-fraud records) may be kept separately.
Where the GDPR applies, the legal bases are: performance of the contract for the service you request; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, in a proportionate way; and your consent where it is required, for example for optional analytics. Granting camera access on your phone is not a general consent to every use of your data.
You can refuse any phone permission; only the feature that depends on it becomes unavailable. Notification choices are managed in the app settings and in your phone settings.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Data received through Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares with Fanych your name, email address, profile photo and a Google account identifier. If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple shares your name (when you allow it), your email address or a private relay address, and an Apple account identifier.
We use this information only to create your Fanych account, sign you in, and show your name and photo on your profile. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive or any other Google data. We do not sell this information, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence models.
Fanych's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. When you delete your Fanych account, the link to your Google or Apple account is removed together with your name, email and photo (see section 10). You can also revoke Fanych's access at any time from your Google account (Security → Third-party connections) or your Apple ID settings.
5. Who receives this information
| Recipient or service | Role and information involved |
|---|---|
| Creators, fans and visitors | Profiles and content you make public; the information and media needed for an order or conversation, shared with its participants. |
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Hosting of Fanych. Our server is located in the Ohio region, United States. File storage and email delivery also run on AWS. |
| Stream | Delivery of video calls, the related conversations and video features. |
| Stripe; Google Play or Apple, depending on the payment | Payment processing, in-app purchases, receipts, refunds and, for Stripe, payouts to creators. |
| Google / Firebase and notification services | Google Sign-In if you choose it; delivery of push notifications. |
| PostHog and Sentry, when enabled | Usage analytics and technical diagnostics; see the next section. |
| Authorized staff and competent authorities | Support, security, dispute handling and legal obligations, only as far as necessary. |
6. Analytics and diagnostics
The app includes PostHog. Screen, search, purchase and usage events may be sent with an internal account identifier and device information — never your email, your phone number or an exact amount. Analytics are optional: the "Usage statistics" switch in Settings → Notifications turns them off at any time. Until your choice is known, including before you sign in, nothing is sent.
A session replay option exists, with masking on input fields and images. It follows the same switch: without your consent, the analytics tool is not started and nothing is recorded.
The website and server may also use Sentry to report errors. Filters remove sensitive information, and diagnostics are limited to what is needed to fix problems.
7. Where data is processed
Our server is hosted in the United States. Some providers may process information in other countries under their own contracts and settings. Where the law requires it, international transfers rely on a valid transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards provided by those providers.
8. How long we keep data
| Category | How long it is kept |
|---|---|
| Account and profile | As long as you use your account, then deleted or anonymized when you close it, except where a legitimate exception applies. |
| Orders, billing and payouts | For the periods required by tax, accounting and dispute rules, with restricted access after day-to-day use. |
| Messages, briefs, deliveries and recordings | As long as needed to provide the service and handle any dispute about it. |
| Logs, analytics, tokens and backups | For short periods, according to their purpose, then purged or rotated. |
9. Your choices and rights
You can edit your information in My account and send a request from Settings → Help and contact, or by email to privacy@fanych.com. Depending on the law that applies to you, you can request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction, objection, or withdraw a consent. Some data may be kept to meet a legal obligation or to establish or defend a legal claim.
We may need to verify your identity in a proportionate way. Do not send an identity document unless we ask for it through an appropriate channel. You can also contact the data protection authority in your country.
10. Deleting your account
In the app: open Settings → Delete account, enter your password and confirm. Deletion is immediate: the account is deactivated; your email address, name, photo, Google or Apple sign-in link, devices and favorites are deleted or anonymized; cards saved with Stripe are detached and subscriptions are canceled. Deletion is refused, with the reason shown, while an upcoming booking or a creator balance is still pending.
Orders, payments and accounting records are kept in anonymized form for legal obligations, fraud prevention and disputes. Data held by payment providers follows their own legal retention periods.
Without the app, the page https://fanych.com/account/delete explains the steps and the support address to contact. A copy of your data can be requested from support.
11. Minors and changes
Fanych is for adults only. The date of birth requested at sign-up blocks account creation by anyone under 18; it does not replace an identity check. Report an account used by a minor, or content that puts a minor at risk, with the Report button on the profile or the content; these reports are handled first.
If we make a significant change to the data we collect, its recipients or its purposes, we will update this policy and, where needed, inform you or ask for your choice again.
